I've had this same error over the past 10 years on older computers and older versions of Windows and Office. P.S. Please try again later. Having Word and/or Outlook open at the same time will not cause the problem to occur unless a browser is also open.

The time now is 05:32 PM. Once I shut that down, the error ceased. I just started my first real job, and have been asked to organize the office party. But every time I drag a cell somewhere on the worksheet, I get an annoying error message"Cannot empty the clipboard!" that has to be clicked to proceed with the drag.
